Green Hunter Habitat
The Green Hunter is found in the Florida Everglades. This area is a wetland which has water streaming through from Lake Okeechobee so they have a source of water. There is sawgrass and many other plants sprouting from the shallow water such as sawgrass. Adult Green Hunters that have young live in Sawgrass to hide their young from predators such as panthers, alligators, and crocodiles. As the Green Hunter young grow older their parents leave them on their own. They find mates and go south and find royal palm tree islands to mate. Some other plants in the Everglades are Bustic, Gumbo Limbo, Live Oak, Mastic, Bladderworts, and Spatterdock.
