The Green Hunter is a very rare animal living in the Florida Everglades. It is an omnivore and eats mostly meat but also eats sawgrass. Green Hunters are found in shallow areas of the Everglades and live on tree islands or in bundles of sawgrass. The Green hunter's scientific name was Venator Contegitur. It was given this name because it means "Hunter of the Wetland". It is endangered due to habitat loss but is still probably the most deadly animal in the Everglades.
(There is no real life photo of the Green Hunter because of its rareness and dangerousness. There is multiple sketches of the animal.)
